Our Story
Our Story:
A Legacy of Innovation and Expertise
From our beginnings in 1993 as a focused security company, HS Tech Group has evolved into one of the region’s leading full-service technology integrators. Our growth is a testament to our unwavering commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions and exceptional customer service. Today, our diverse and experienced team possesses the expertise to handle any client request, spanning commercial security, home entertainment systems, and a comprehensive range of integrated technologies. We proudly serve a wide array of clients, including commercial businesses, government entities, and residential customers, and we are dedicated to designing and installing the perfect technology system for every need.
Our Foundation:
A Blend of Technical Expertise and Business Acumen
HS Tech Group was founded by Stuart, who combined his extensive experience in his father’s contracting company with his formal education in computer science. This unique blend of skills provided him with a deep understanding of both the intricacies of service-oriented contracting and the transformative power of technology.
Stuart’s vision was further shaped by his interactions with Mark “Big Poppy” Recene, who shared his insights into the security industry. Recognizing the synergy between construction and security, Stuart saw an opportunity to create a company that would leverage technology to deliver sophisticated yet user-friendly solutions.
To bring this vision to life, Stuart partnered with Mark Shane, whose background in quality control for complex projects like The B-1 Bomber and Patriot Missile Launcher programs brought invaluable precision and organizational expertise to the company.
Our Evolution:
Meeting the Growing Demands
of a Connected World
HS Tech Group quickly established a reputation for delivering state-of-the-art security systems with professional installations. Our ability to address the unique needs of a diverse clientele, including those with specific challenges and high-value assets, set us apart in the industry.
As the technology landscape evolved, so did HS Tech Group. We expanded our offerings to include a comprehensive suite of low-voltage solutions, encompassing everything from telecommunications and networking to multi-room audio, video surveillance, and lighting and shade control. This strategic expansion allowed us to serve as a single point of contact for builders, contractors, and customers seeking integrated technology solutions.
Our Commitment to Excellence:

HS Tech Group’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has been recognized throughout the industry. We have forged strong relationships with leading technology providers, such as General Electric Security (now United Technologies Corporation), and have consistently earned accolades for our dedication to excellence.
